The IRM Outreach Program is seeking volunteers for three opportunities.
Guo-li Ming, MD, PhD is one of six Penn faculty members to receive the honor in 2019. The National Academy of Medicine addresses critical issues in health, science, medicine, and related policy. New members are elected by their peers for their contributions to the advancement of the medical sciences, health care, and public health. Read more here.
Dr. Hamilton will use the award to study how colonic and intestinal stem cells protect the body from damage and how these cells fail in disease. The Lisa Dean Moseley Foundation encourages, promotes, and supports medical research focused on clinical stem cell research.
